Media Profile

1. I believe that media is very important in my life. Media is important to me because it influences so much in my life, everything from what I wear to what activities I do media effects it. The main reason why media is important in my life is because it entertains me tv, movies, music, magazines and the internet are all apart of my daily life.



2. 1- Movies. Learning about movies would not only let us watch more movies in class but would be something new to learn about during a movie i wouldn't think much about it just enjoy but discussing the movie after would give me a new way to view movies.
2- Comic Books. I want to learn about comic books because I love alot of movies that came from these comics and learning more about there origins would be something I would be more interested in.
3- Photography. I would love to get a part time job as a photographer (Spiderman : ) so learning more about it and what makes a good picture might come in handy later on in life



3. I don't really have any thoughts on modern popular culture, it is going to change eventually anyways. Yes i like the new technology, the ability to comminicate with someone without being with them or by a phone call is very useful. I use media to inform me whats going on in the world and entertainment. Media is used for many reasons not just entertainment though that may be the biggest purpose it has.

4.Desert Island Choices
Favourite:
TV show- Two and a Half Men. Really funny show with a character I can relate to Charlie Harper. That guy is what I want to be like when i'm older.
Movie- Batman The Dark Knight. Best superhero ever and the best super villian ever put into one amazing! Everything about this movie was just awesome the directing, acting, special effects, the whole editting process everything. The only problem with this movie is that I am not playing Batman.
Album- I don't really have one. I have never really liked a whole album, I would just listen to a few songs from a binch of artists.
Video Game- Fable. The Fable series are great games, good story line, good graphics, and good game play not to mention the replay value. The game is an RPG which are the kind of games I like and it's based in the medieval times another thing I like. But the one thing I really like about Fable is the ability to make your own decisions that can change the story of the game.
Book- Twilight. Even though this book gets bashed alot for being a "girly" book or for ruining vampires, it is not that bad of a book when you get into it. The story is a little rediculous a vampire and a werewolf falling in love with the same human girl isn't very believable but if your up for a good fantasy then Twilights pretty good.
